Steve Buxton - Director
Steve is a seasoned property developer who has directly overseen more than $1.5 billion in developments, both independently and in joint ventures. His experience spans several respected development entities, including Red.C Pty Ltd (est. 2000), Buxton Development Projects Pty Ltd (est. 2004), and Hamton Pty Ltd (est. 2006).
Many of the projects under Steve’s leadership have been highly regarded by industry peers, earning multiple industry awards. His work has often set benchmarks, leading to widespread emulation, particularly in the areas of product design, marketing strategies, and sales methodologies.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Postgraduate qualification in Property. He has also served as a guest lecturer in Property at both RMIT and the University of Melbourne.
Ben Buxton - Director
Recognised as one of Australia’s leading experts in property communications and brand development, Ben Buxton has over 25 years of experience in the Australian property marketing industry. As the founder of Grenade Communication and a recipient of multiple national design awards, Ben has played a pivotal role in the successful marketing and sale of more than $4.5 billion in Australian real estate over the past two decades.
Ben combines a rich family heritage in property with deep industry knowledge to deliver landmark projects that leave a lasting legacy.
Lucas Riley - Senior Development Manager
With more than 25 years of experience in the property and construction industry, Lucas Riley brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to B&B Property Group. He holds degrees in Planning and Design, Architecture, and Property and Construction (Honours), enabling him to blend creative vision with practical expertise.
Prior to joining B&B, Lucas held long-standing roles with respected development firms, contributing to a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects. Now an integral member of the B&B team, Lucas is dedicated to delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality developments that uphold the Buxton family’s enduring reputation for excellence.
James Copes - Chief Financial Officer
James is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Services. At B&B Property Group, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s finance and operational functions.
Prior to joining B&B, James served as Chief Financial Officer at Hamton Property Group for six years, where he managed the finance and operations of projects valued at over $1 billion. He also led the financial and operational functions of a range of affiliated businesses, including property management, sales, owners corporation management, and launderette services.
Before transitioning into the property sector, James gained a decade of experience in the accounting profession, providing him with a strong financial foundation that supports his leadership in the industry.
Angus Farrar - Assistant Development Manager
Angus is an Assistant Development Manager with a strong foundation in design, construction, and property. His previous experience includes working with ASX-listed developer Lendlease, where he was involved in urban regeneration projects across residential, retirement living, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
Angus holds a Bachelor of Architectural Design from Monash University and a Master of Construction Management from the University of Melbourne.
Brad Yudelman - Project Manager
Brad brings a highly hands-on approach to project construction and delivery. With over a decade of industry experience, he has played a key role in delivering some of Melbourne’s most iconic developments. Notable projects include 74 Eastern Road, South Melbourne; 107 Cambridge Street, Collingwood; and 505 St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
Aleece Siliga - Accounts
With over 12 years of experience in accounts and administration, Aleece is known for delivering timely and accurate project reporting. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures seamless management of project accounting from inception through to completion.
Kate Elizabeth - Executive Assistant
Kate brings over 15 years extensive experience in corporate and personal administration across a diverse range of industries including defence, insurance, medical and not-for-profits. She provides Executive Administration support to Ben and Steven Buxton as well as the wider B&B Property Group.
